As a doula, and mother of three, I know how important birth is to a family. I strive in every way possible, through my certification, personal experience and passion, to help create the birth experience you desire.

I believe women instinctively know how to birth their babies, and as a doula, I am there to guide and empower them. I help women most by bringing a calm, confident, knowledgeable and uplifting presence to the birth. I have no judgment or expectations of mothers or fathers during labor, and respect all choices that are made. I have personally experienced natural childbirth and with an epidural; and as a doula, I also have experience with VBAC’s, high blood pressure, and planned and unplanned cesarean births. I love working with dads, and feel more fulfillment as a doula in helping a couple connect and grow closer as they expand their family. I feel that knowing your doula as well as possible is very important, and make great efforts to make sure you feel comfortable with me. Overall I try to provide real mom advice and friendship during pregnancy, birth and post-partum phases, so that you feel supported and encouraged.

In addition to routine doula services I offer my expertise in photography during your labor and birth to create a legacy that will be cherished forever. I have found that this service proves to be especially rewarding for cesarean births
