I have been involved with the birth community since 2000, giving me experience in virtually every birth setting. As a certified doula, my purpose is to spiritually promote maternal and child welfare. As a mother of two, I believe childbirth is one of the most wonderful and amazing chapters in a woman's life. As a believer in Christ-centered childbirth, I know that my own birth experiences have played a significant part in my spiritual growth. I believe Every woman has been gifted the power to birth her baby. My calling is to make it the most beautiful memory possible, while providing the tools, guidance and information to create a birth legacy.

I desire to play a lasting, positive role in the lives of others who are preparing for the journey of parenthood and the experience of labor. My true passion is to empower the mother and support her and her partner in all aspects of the birth process, both emotionally and physically. In doing so, my services include two prenatal visits to create the personal birth legacy you both desire. I provide informational support on any subject or concern you may have, so you can make informed decisions about your birth. From the first time we meet, and well into your postpartum period, I provide ongoing 24/7 phone support. I never impose personal beliefs. My goal is to help you attain your desired outcome.

When the big day arrives, I will join you at your home, if you wish to labor there for a period of time, or meet you at the hospital. My services are tailored to the needs and desires of each client to best suit them. You will be treated to continuous personal attention during your labor, reassuring you and your partner with both emotional and physical support. This can enable you to focus and relax for the most memorable experience possible. As the laboring mother, you will never be left alone. This includes c-sections and other medical procedrues.

I can also photograph the birth for you (G-rated) to ensure that you preserve the most precious moments following your birth. I also document the progress of your birth and provide you a timeline to treasure for years to come. It is designed for photo-quality printing, with pictures of your birth, and can be framed or scrapbooked as a keepsake.

Following your incredible birth, I will remain with you for several hours and assist with breast-feeding and other questions. Once you and your new family are home, there are one to two postnatal visits to discuss your birth and baby care questions, encourage breast-feeding and explore your emotional and spiritual well being.

So, whether this is your first baby or seventh, if you are expecting twins or planning a cesarean section, I can help to ease the transition through birth and the postpartum period.
